The Trail Where It All Began

We started their Otterville engagement session at a peaceful park surrounded by tall trees. The early evening glow made everything sparkle. Cassie and Derrick were so natural together. They giggled, teased, and snuggled like no one else was around.

After the park, we made our way to one of my favourite trails near Delhi. I have photographed here a few times in the past. When I suggested it as a potential spot for their engagement session, they immediately said YES! As it turns out, it’s the same trail where they had their first date years ago. Back then, they went bike riding there. They had no idea they’d return one day for their engagement photos. How sweet is that?

The session flowed effortlessly. Every shot captured their joy, their story, and the easy kind of love that feels meant to be. From soft forehead kisses to playful spins on the trail, their connection filled every frame.

Cassie and Derrick are getting married at Otter Creek Golf Club next August. I already know it will be a beautiful day filled with laughter, happy tears, and warm memories. If this engagement session is any clue, it will be nothing short of magical.

Fall Vibes and Golden Light for this Otterville Engagement Session

One of the best parts of this Otterville engagement session was the fall setting. I think we picked the best possible weekend in October to photograph their engagement session! The trail glowed with golden and amber leaves. Soft sunlight filtered through the trees, making every moment cozy and romantic. Fall really brings out the magic in outdoor engagement sessions, and this one was no exception!
