There is something so special about a Burning Kiln Winery wedding. Steve and Davita’s day was the perfect example of how beautiful and meaningful a microwedding can be!

Back on September 5th, 2021, I had the honour of being part of Burning Kiln’s intimate microwedding experience. That day, we photographed two incredible couples. Steve and Davita’s celebration was filled with so much heart, emotion, and joy from start to finish!

Their day began in the quiet farmhouse. There, Davita got ready with her maid of honour and the kids. You could feel the excitement building, and it was the sweetest energy to be around. Meanwhile, Steve looked so sharp in his blue suit. Davita’s rich, colourful fall florals complemented it perfectly and tied everything together.

Then, it was time for their ceremony. Officiated by Shirley Kennedy, it was simple, heartfelt, and full of emotion. As Davita walked down the aisle, Steve became visibly emotional. It was such a touching moment and one I will never forget.

After the ceremony, we headed into the vineyard for portraits. This Burning Kiln Winery wedding truly delivered the dreamiest golden hour! The light poured through the vines, creating the most magical glow. As a result, their just married portraits felt extra romantic and full of warmth.

Later, everyone returned to the farmhouse for a sweet and simple reception. They celebrated with their closest people, which made the evening feel so intimate. Then, as the sun began to set, Steve and Davita shared their first dance. It took place under the towering maple trees, and it was such a peaceful, beautiful moment.
