Ahhh I love a high school sweetheart wedding 🥹 This Otterville golf club wedding celebrated a love story that began in high school music class and grew into something truly lasting.

Amy and Jesse chose to celebrate at Otter Creek Golf Club in their hometown of Otterville. Their day felt simple, romantic, and elegant from start to finish. After more than ten years together, you could feel how meaningful this moment was for them and for everyone who loves them.

From High School to Forever

Amy and Jesse first met in high school music class. Since they were so young, they never really had a traditional first date. Amy says their closest version might have been a paint party she hosted for Jesse’s birthday. That night felt like the beginning of something more intentional.

From those early days, their relationship has always been built on friendship, laughter, and having fun together.

A Meaningful Otterville Golf Club Wedding

Hosting their Otterville golf club wedding in their hometown made the entire day feel even more personal. Their September wedding brought warm sunshine, a soft breeze, and the perfect transition from summer to fall.

Amy and Jesse chose a classic colour palette of navy blue, white, and greenery. The timeless tones paired beautifully with the late summer setting.

Personal Touches That Made the Day Special

One of the sweetest details included their golden retriever, Copper. Their “baby” had his own signature cocktail and custom napkins with his adorable face on them.

They also honoured Jesse’s late mother during the ceremony with a memorial chair and a beautiful banner placed in her memory.

One moment I will never forget was Amy’s dad driving her to the first look in a truck that the two of them built together. Watching him bring her to Jesse in something they created side by side felt incredibly meaningful.
