Otterville Golf Club Wedding | Amy and Jesse

Ahhh I love a high school sweetheart wedding 🥹 This Otterville golf club wedding was the sweetest celebration of a love story that started in high school music class and grew into a forever kind of love.

Amy and Jesse celebrated at Otter Creek Golf Club in their hometown of Otterville. Their day felt simple, romantic, and elegant from beginning to end. After more than ten years together, this celebration felt long awaited. You could feel the excitement from their families, their wedding party, and especially from the two of them.

From High School to Forever

They met in high school music class. Amy says they never really had a traditional first date because they were so young. If they had to choose one moment, it would be the paint party Amy hosted for Jesse’s birthday. That night felt like the start of something more intentional. From the beginning, their relationship has been rooted in friendship and fun.

The proposal took place in Ireland during a trip with close friends. They spent the day driving the Ring of Kerry under bright blue skies. When they reached the Kerry Cliffs, Jesse asked Amy to turn around for one more photo. She turned back toward him and found him down on one knee overlooking the sea. It could not have been more perfect!!

Amy loves Jesse’s personality and his sense of humour. He has always made her laugh, and he still does. Jesse loves how caring and compassionate Amy is with everyone she meets. He knew she was the one after his mom passed away. Amy stood firmly in his corner and supported him through it all. That loyalty and strength confirmed she was his forever.

A Meaningful Otterville Golf Club Wedding

They chose to host their Otterville golf club wedding in their hometown because it feels like home. Otter Creek Golf Club holds meaning for them and their families. Getting married there made the day even more personal.

Their September wedding day brought the perfect mix of summer warmth and early fall air. The sun shone brightly, and a cool breeze rolled through the course. It was a classic September Saturday.

They chose navy blue and white with greenery for their colour palette. The combination felt timeless and clean. It suited the end of summer setting beautifully.

One of the sweetest touches involved their golden retriever, Copper. They gave their baby his own signature cocktail. They also created custom napkins with his face on them. Everyone absolutely loved that!!

They also honoured Jesse’s late mother during the ceremony. A memorial chair held a beautiful banner in her memory. After Jesse walked down the aisle, he stood with his hand on the chair for a quiet moment, thinking of his mother. As I looked around at the guests, there was not a single dry eye.

A First Look Full of Emotion

One moment that stood out to me was Amy’s dad driving her to the first look. He drove a truck that he and Amy built together. Watching him bring her to Jesse in something they created side by side felt incredibly symbolic.

I encouraged Amy and Jesse to share a first look. That private moment allowed them to see each other without an audience. They laughed, hugged, and took everything in together. It helped calm their nerves and made the rest of the day flow smoothly.

Amy and Jesse told me they chose me for my natural-looking photos and easy going personality. Hearing that meant so much. I always aim to create images that feel authentic while keeping the experience relaxed and fun. With these two, that came naturally.

Amy and Jesse, your wedding felt timeless in the best way. It was filled with sunshine, emotion, and deep connection. Capturing your Otterville golf club wedding in the place you call home was such an honour 🤍✨
