Kate and Rob’s Elm Hurst wedding in Ingersoll was the definition of elegant, romantic, fairytale MAGIC!!!

From a surprise proposal that neither of them saw coming, to a princess gown and tiara moment, to the dreamiest golden light after their ceremony, this Elm Hurst wedding in Ingersoll felt like it was pulled straight from a storybook.

And truly, their love story is just as sweet as their wedding day.

The Most Unexpected Proposal Ever

Rob ordered the ring online and never got a shipping notification. One morning he grabbed the mail, opened a package thinking it was something completely unrelated… and it was the ring.

Kate was standing RIGHT there.

So he did what any man in that moment would do. He rolled with it!!!

But before asking Kate, he did something even sweeter. He asked Oliver, her golden retriever, for permission to marry his mom. 🥹

Then he proposed on the spot!!

Kate was in total shock. The kind of shock that lasts almost an entire week. She couldn’t believe she was that lucky.

A Fairytale Wedding at The Elm Hurst

Their Elm Hurst wedding in Ingersoll took place in the beautiful James Harris Room for their ceremony, followed by a romantic reception.

The day started warm and humid with soft drizzle and overcast skies. And then… just after their ceremony ended… the sun came out!!

We were gifted the DREAMIEST golden glow for their Just Married portraits!!! It was one of those moments where you just look at the sky and think, okay wow, this is meant to be!!

Kate wore the most stunning ballgown and a tiara that made her look every bit the princess. Rob looked so classic and handsome in his tux. They chose not to have a wedding party because they wanted the day to feel simple and focused on just the two of them, and I absolutely loved that.

Their blush pink and white colour palette tied everything together so beautifully- feminine, soft, timeless, and totally fairytale.

Safe, Steady, and So Full of Laughter

Kate talks about how Rob always makes her feel calm and protected. No matter what is happening, he is present.

Rob loves how naturally everything fits between them. No forcing, no pretending.

In twenty years, they want to remember how supportive they were of each other through everything. They want to look back at all the laughter and the happiness they brought out in one another.

And if their wedding day is any indication… they are already building exactly that kind of life. 🤍
