A Golden May Evening at Long Point Beach
Kate and Rob’s Long Point Beach engagement session took place on the most stunning May evening in Norfolk County. The sky stretched clear and cloudless above us. Meanwhile, the sun melted into the horizon in the richest golden orange I have ever seen. It truly felt like the first real summer evening of the year.
I love photographing at Long Point Beach. In particular, sunset light filters through the trees in the most magical way. As a result, it wraps everything in a soft, glowing haze. That glow creates the most romantic setting for a summery, golden engagement session.
We intentionally chose a quiet weeknight. Because of that, we avoided beachgoers and cottagers. Instead, the shoreline felt peaceful and private. Gentle waves rolled in at our feet. At the same time, a warm breeze drifted through the trees. Altogether, the evening felt effortless and intimate.
Counting Down to Elm Hurst Inn
Kate and Rob are truly the nicest people. They are kind, relaxed, and completely in love. Most importantly, they cannot wait to get married next month.
They will celebrate their wedding on June 29th, 2024 at the beautiful Elm Hurst Inn in Ingersoll. I already know it will be such a joyful day. If their Long Point Beach engagement session tells us anything, their wedding will overflow with warmth and happiness.
They chose the beach because they wanted something timeless and natural. Thankfully, Long Point delivered. The golden sunset glowed behind them. Then, as the light softened, the sky turned dreamy shades of peach and gold. It gave them the perfect backdrop to celebrate this sweet season of their lives.
June truly cannot come soon enough 💛✨
