Maddie and Richard FINALLYYYY tied the knot at the GORGEOUS Oxford Hills Golf!!

Maddie and Richard have known each other pretty much forever, and after years of dating, they got hitched in their hometown of Tillsonburg!

Golf course weddings are some of my favourite (next to farm weddings) because of the open spaces, luxurious clubhouses, and beautifully manicured outdoor venue space 😍

As I arrived at Madison’s parent’s house in Tillsonburg for the Getting Ready photos, Madison’s parents, sister, and Richard’s mom and sisters literally welcomed me with open arms. It’s such a sweet feeling to start off a wedding day this way! As I worked away on Madison’s bridal details, they checked in on me periodically and insisted that they are here to do anything I need- how stinkin’ sweet are they?!

Normally, there’s a part of the wedding day that sticks out to me as the favourite, but honestly, I can’t pick one from Maddie and Rich’s day!! Maybe it’s because I’ve known the families since kindergarten so the wedding day felt a little different than the other weddings I have. I truly felt like a friend of both the couple AND the families, who just so happens to be a photographer too.

The wedding party was so great to hang out with too- and trust me when I tell you- they seriously put the “party” in wedding party, lol! One of the groomsmen is a 2023 groom of mine, so it was really special to get to know him, his fiancée, and his family more!

After a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Tillsonburg, we headed to Mount Elgin to The Oxford Hills, where we did family photos, wedding party photos, and of course, Maddie and Rich’s couple’s photos! Hillary, the event coordinator at The Oxford Hills, was absolutely amazing!!! She looked after the families, couple, and wedding party, made sure they had everything they needed, and even chauffeured us in a golf cart to the best spots on the property to do photos!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Poredos!! And thank you SOOOO much for choosing me to capture this incredible day ❤️
