Katelyn and Sean’s Fall wedding at Pine Valley Chalet was an October DREAM!

October 9th was a typical early Fall day- mild, overcast, and rainy, and then sunny and blue skies! Mother Nature was definitely keeping me, and the staff at Pine Valley on our toes as we made a decision to keep the ceremony outdoors!

Pine Valley Chalet is set at the base of Chicopee Ski Resort- making Katelyn and Sean’s wedding pictures absolutely breathtaking! The hills are lined with lush trees, showing off their vivid orange and yellow leaves. It made for the PERFECT location to do their couple’s pictures, and wedding party pictures!

Katelyn couldn’t have chosen a better colour for her bridesmaids dresses- the warm rusty colour brought out the warm tones in the background, and the ladies looked absolutely gorgeous! Paired with the guys’ navy blue suits, the whole crew was looking like an Autumn dream!

The ceremony took place on Pine Valley’s beautiful deck, with the ski hills in the background. The large timber-frame pergola made me feel like I was shooting in a warm, cozy cabin. The decor they chose enhanced this feeling- white pumpkins, greenery, white florals, big wooden tables and chairs that matched the colour of the wood in the chalet, and stunning warm rose gold accents. Love!!!

 

Their ceremony included something I’ve never seen before… a ring warming ceremony! During the vows, Katelyn and Sean’s rings were passed around from guest to guest, their hands “warming” the rings with well wishes for the couple. How cute is that?!?!

 

My favourite part of the day was hanging out with Katelyn and Sean, soaking up the sun on the ski hill and capturing how in love they are! These two have been together since high school, so their wedding was a long time coming to say the least!

 

I am so excited for them to start their lives together as husband and wife! And I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them in the future! ❤️
