Ummmm can you say PERFECTION?! 😍😍😍

 

Nic and Alina’s country club wedding was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, even with the restrictions covid had put on them.

 

The staff at Westmount Golf and Country Club in Waterloo handled their big day, and all their guests, flawlessly considering the strict guidelines that had to be followed.

 

Nic and Alina shared their intimate first look in the gorgeous garden outside of the clubhouse, then wandered the trails on the course for the perfect wedding party portrait location. Lots of drinks were had, lots of joyful tears shed, and I firmly believe that the speeches during dinner were some of the most genuine tear-jerking ones I’ve ever experienced.

 

This was a particularly special wedding for me, as Nic and I grew up together! We have been friends for as long as I can remember, so to be the one capturing his marriage to his beautiful new wifey was absolutely precious for me. Keep scrolling for a 2009 vs. 2020 comparison of Nic and I 😂

 

In case you’re wondering what the purpose of the bread during the ceremony is, it is a really cool Polish wedding tradition! The parents of the couple gift them bread with salt, to ensure the couple and their family never go hungry,

 

Nic and Alina’s wedding was probably the most truly joyful weddings ever. Maybe it’s because of the intimacy of a small guest count, or maybe it’s because of how madly in love these two are. Either way, what an honour it was to get to capture and preserve that joy for decades to come!
